Our
Story
Emperor Nurseries was launched in January 2023 with a clear mission: to work in partnership with wonderful existing nursery settings looking for fresh energy, continuity, and caring hands to look after their children, teams, and families.
Founded by two dads of their own respective toddlers, Emperor Nurseries grew from a simple belief: that every nursery should be a place we would proudly send our own daughters to. That ethos guides every decision we make.
Our vision is to nurture, and further develop high-quality early years settings – always preserving their character while strengthening what already makes them special. We focus on creating warm, home-from-home environments that feel personal and independent, not corporate or clinical.
Since launch, we have worked closely with our teams to bring positive change across our settings, with the utmost focus on child-centered care. With our combined educational & care experience and hands-on approach, we have also delivered thoughtful refurbishments, stronger marketing, modern technology, and collaborative team support.

Our guiding principles
Cosy & Homely
We intentionally limit the number of children in our settings to keep them a true 'home from home', so you and your child will know all our practitioners, and all our practitioners will know you and your child. This is a special and close-knit family, not a huge and often intimidating corporate chain nursery.
Curiosity Inspired
Inspired by the Curiosity Approach - we leverage the latest best-in-class teaching methods to allow your child to become the best version of themselves. As a result, we typically see children who graduate from our nurseries go on to be ahead of their peers with their problem-solving & communication skills when they start school.
One Connected Family
We recognise that a strong partnership between children, parents, and our nursery team is essential. Happy children lead to confident parents and a motivated staff team. Through strong, proactive communication and close collaboration, we ensure an approachable, supportive and flexible environment for everyone involved.
